The Episealer Femoral Twin is a patient-specific resurfacing implant intended for larger and more elongated defects for the femoral condyles and the trochlea area. It aims to treat patients suffering from pain and reduced mobility due to cartilage and underlying bone damage in the knee, regardless of where in the trochlea or on the condyles the injury is located, since the Episealer is a customised device tailored to each patient’s individual anatomy. The treatment is designed to alleviate pain and to enable patients to recover joint mobility.

The Episealer Femoral Twin is available in following sizes:

2x15mm diameter (total length: 23mm; treats lesions up to 2.9 cm²)
2x17mm diameter (total length: 26mm; treats lesions up to 3.7 cm²)
2x20mm diameter (total length: 29mm; treats lesions up to 4.8 cm²)
2x25mm diameter (total length: 35mm; treats lesions up to 7.3 cm²)
